What is Lippan art?

Lippan (mud and mirror work) is a traditional art form from Kutch, Gujarat. Designs are outlined in clay and lit up with mirrors that catch the light beautifully.

Our Jharokha kits are inspired by the ornate windows of Indian palaces, with opening doors on hinges and a central mirror, ready for you to decorate in traditional Lippan style.

What's in the kit

  • Round MDF board
  • Clay
  • Glue
  • Shaping tool
  • Mirrors
  • Step-by-step instructions

Suits all levels: keep the clay lines simple, or add more detail as your confidence grows.
